Are your products vegan and cruelty free?

Unless stated, all products we sell are vegan and cruelty free. This includes the resin, pigments, mica powders, inks and base metals.

Which payment methods do you accept?

For online purchases we only accept PayPal. At the Bearded Gypsy Trade Fayre we accept cash and all cards, even American Express!

What are the delivery charges?

Delivery charges will vary on larger items. Standard delivery for smaller items such as jewellery start at £3.95 and are sent via Royal Mail Signed For, second class. Larger items will vary on weight and size, but costs will be shown before checkout. Upgraded delivery options are available in the checkout.

I live local, can I collect?

We don’t offer a collection service, however we do offer free local delivery for the Chelmsford and surrounding areas (please contact us before purchasing to see if we can deliver to you).

What exactly happens after ordering?

If you order an item from stock (not custom), your item will be packaged and shipped within 2 working days. We will aim to ship orders placed on a Friday the following Monday (excluding bank holidays).

Custom orders will be subject to a ‘proofing’ phase, we will design and create your bespoke piece and send pictures, once you’re happy with the item and you have paid, we will package and ship the item within 2 working days.

If you’re logged in, you will be able to track your parcel. Tracking numbers will be provided where possible.

Do I need to pay a deposit for custom orders?

Because custom orders are unique to you, we require a 50% deposit before work can begin. We will contact you a few days before we are due to start work on your custom order, once work has begun on your custom order we will not be able to refund any deposit you have paid.

How long do custom orders take?

The quickest a custom order can be with you is 14 working days. This takes into account receiving your order on a working day, making your piece, having your proof approved promptly, and shipping.

If you have specified a custom colour that we do not have, or we have no stock of your medium of choice, we will need to order this in.

You will be notified of the progress of each of these steps, either via the logged in section of the website, or email.

Is your online shop secure? Is my data protected?

Your data is secured via an SSL certificate issued by “Encryption Everywhere”. Your privacy is important to us and as such your personal data will not be sold to third parties. We may send you newsletters or offers from time to time if you opt in, but you can unsubscribe at any time.

Do you have a shop I can visit?

Unfortunately, we don’t have a shop that you can come to.

However, starting on the 5th of May 2019, and then the first Sunday of each month, you’ll be able to find us on Chelmsford High Street with a small popup shop.

We’ll have our latest products as well as seconds and sale items.

Can I return my item?

In the unlikely event that your item is damaged or not of merchantable quality, we will give you a full refund and pay for return postage once we have received the item(s).

If you change your mind and no longer want the item, you can return it to us withing 14 days of receipt. We will then issue you a refund for the cost of the item only, we will not refund the original postage charges. You will also be responsible for paying the return postage. Items returned to us should be securely packaged in the same condition that they were shipped to you.

Custom orders (once the proof has been accepted) cannot be returned or refunded once we have marked the item as shipped, as these items are custom made for you.

Purchases made on sale items are final, returns will not be accepted. As many of these items are slight seconds or old stock.

To ensure your return can be processed completely and promptly, please send all returns via a tracked shipping method. We will not responsible for lost or damaged returns that are not tracked.
